My family and I went to Seaside today for a family trip to the coast before summer ended. While it rained in Portland, it was warm and dry at the coast. What a wonderful day. We walked on the beach, played at Funland, and ate home-made ice cream at the ice cream shop.
The last sentence should read, "...and ate home-made ice cream at the ice cream shop." Just proof-reading it for you! =)
