Fort Vanouver

We visited Fort Vancouver in Washington State with friends and saw how early life was lived in a fort setting. We learned how people traded beaver pelt and other items. I asked if people could get items on credit. The fort volunteer said no. But I think he is wrong because I read that credit was extended at certain frontier posts. In any case, we saw more an we learned about woodworking and other crafts. It was an educational experience.
